Heres the thread for anyone wanting to submit any recipes for chemistry, Heres a template:
Recipes:
Reagents:
There can be MANY ways to make the same chemicals! Feel free to drop a few in the same post if their related.
I'm gunna post another thread of all the accepted/current reactions and reagents. Have a look through them before you make something that already exists!
Recipes:
name = (recipe name.)
required reagents = oxygen = 1, water = 4, methane = 2, etc. (list of all the reagents, their amounts.)
reaction results = made up reagent = 1, steam = 2, etc. (just like above, but this is what comes out.)
required catalyst = (The catalyst required for the reaction. This is optional.)
min temp = (Set this to something if you want it to react above a certain temperature. This is optional.) ie. boiling.
max temp = (Set this to something if you want it to react below a certain temperature. This is optional.) ie. freezing.
amps = (How much energy is needed, for electrolysis, to fully react. This is optional.)
ignition = 0 (Is this reaction caused by ignition? Set it to 1.)
energy = 0 (How much heat does this reaction give off? Used in explosions, and well most reactions in general. Can be a negative number.)
sound = (Sound to play when it reacts. Or just a description of what you think it should sound like. This is optional.)
volume = (Volume of sound. 0-100.)
reactsight = (Text to show to mobs who can see the reaction. This is optional.) ex. "The solution bubbles."
Other Notes about this reaction:
Reagents:
name = "Reagent"
description = "" // Descriptions, Used IC.
reagent_state = SOLID // Reagent State. Mostly used for atmospherics, But has other uses.
decay = 0 // Should this chemical decay over time? If so how quickly?
color = "#000000" // rgb: 0, 0, 0 The color of the chemical.
opacity = 255 // Yay we have an alpha value!
chemlevel = 0 // Chemlevel. Affects what chemicals will be detected when using certain scanners. How complex is the chemical?
temperature_resistance = 0.5 // How quickly does this chemical change temperature? 1 is Never 0 is instant.
pressure_resistance = 0 // How much external pressure is needed to raise the compressions by one? 1 is one kPA, 0 is never.
Effects: Whats this chemical do? Does it react differently to humans and cats, or other species, for example? This should be rather lengthy.
Roots: Where does your idea for this reaction come from? Real world chemicals, sci-fi, or did you just come up with it from the deep dark abyss of your mind?
