I think it'd be easy if spriting requests would be posted somewhere so they're not all over the place.

I'll also start working on the materials you assigned.
Material Bars -> Sheets -> Rods -> Coil -> Powder

So basically for the cryo/clone pods you want a closed & open sprite and for the closed one you want it to be a bit transparent for frozen and unfrozen?

Yeah, But the transparent bit needs to be a separate sprite, So that we can shove a person between them.

I'll also start working on the materials you assigned. Material Bars -> Sheets -> Rods -> Coil -> Powder Well, You wont need to do one for powder, as it would be required to be in beakers (a reagent) or otherwise just residue on the ground, and not have an actual sprite. Sheets should be rectangular and large, Bars should be maybe a third the size of sheets, but show that they have thickness. Rods should have a bit of thickness, and be as long as/longer than sheets. And finally coils should look similar to cable coils, but thinner, and more metallic. There may be different sprites for different amounts in the stack, for example: One, Multiple, Or Maximum. Note, Coils CAN be used in place of cables, But since they arent insulated, can electrocute people and can be broken easier. We may have rats and such that are able to cut through cables, but will die. So maintenance techs. will have some more work to do. And killing rats has a purpose. Rats come from weird places. They will breed and such, but when they are all dead, they may come aboard the cargo shuttle or something somehow. Not sure yet. The point is, Hopefully, you can't completely genocide rats. Sheets, Bars, etc. May have quite a few overlays to show that they are made from materials, but i havent decided yet. Feel free to sprite some ideas, but they could just be scrapped in the future.

Oh yeah, We need some 48x48 space tiles. Sooner the better.
Remember, we're hundreds of light years from any galaxies. (About 500 million from earth, precisely.) So it will be dark, sparse even. GL!

Lel okay I'll try. Null, for the cloner: do you want it to look simple and streamlined or with a lot of small details?

I personally prefer the more streamlined looks. It should for the most part, have strong edges though. Edgy. Feel free to throw a few weird angles in there, but i dont want to see many curves. Er wait, thats for the cryo... Hm... For the metal bits, Try to keep THEM edgy, glass bits can be curvy.
The inside of the cloner should have some bubbles, you should vaguely be able to see some pipes and tubes connecting on the inside. The cryosleeper should look more like a comfy chair surrounded by walls. Lol

I don't remember where you posted this but how big is the clone pod and cryo pod supposed to be?
And will the human inside be in a different position? (Probably yes but asking just to be sure)

i think he said the cloner should envelop a human standing up sprite, and that its im guessing tall like cryo maybe

Cryo should be with a person standing up... A suggestion is 48x96 Where the height is actually a bit more than 150% of the width.
Not sure about cryo yet. Possibly just a silhouette.

Okay so, I'm working on a clonepod but do you want it to take up most of the canvas or doesn't it matter? Because I don't see the point in having a very large pod for only a human. Though I could try filling it up with metal parts for the rest

I tried in 32x32, it's absolutely nothing close to detailed. The bigger you make the canvas the more detail you can add.

more detail but it just feels disproportionate

Its only as disproportionate as the artist makes it. If You can learn to work with different resolutions Your skill as an artist would improve a lot.
