Hello again! I have kind of been on hiatus due to recent events, Canadian Thanksgiving included. I'm back now though. I heard that placeholders were being used for current graphics, and since turf is what we'll be seeing most often, I thought I might make some. This thread would work for walls, floors, space tiles; any turf, really. I've made a wall sprite: 48x48 96x96 It's not perfect, and it didn't take me too long to make. This was mostly inspired from SS13 walls, although I did do some things differently. Here's what it might look like when connecting to other walls: What do you think?

MIGHT be a little too bright. Also try losing the bolts and see how it looks. You don't have to make it look like the old walls. Maybe it will look better if its smooth

Brightness/color doesnt matter too much. Since there will be walls made of different materials, They could just be blended with other colors and textures from the base.

I tried making a wall consistent with the art style. Here it is: 48x48 96x96 What do you think? Too rough/too much detail? Different shape? If you like it, I can start making variations of how it will connect to other walls, like in my first post.

I would mix up some darker or brighter greytones to the purpled color wall stripe. It is popping out to much I think but anyway the overall is nice. Maybe you could add a little shadow to the stripe. Not much, only some highlights and dropshadow.

Here, I added some detail. It looks more textured now. What else could I add?

Wow, I like those; not sure what you need to add though.
